The Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea watch consists of corrosion-resistance material and has double expansion bracelet which has been especially designed for a life underwater. This watch has different kind of clasp called the Rolex Glidelock clasp. This clasp has been patented by Rolex company. This glidelock can expand the band to 18mm in precise 1.8 mm increments. The Rolex Fliplocks extension locks can help the band to be adjusted by another 28mm. The Rolex Sea Dweller Deepsea has parachrom hairspring instead of the regular Oscillator hairspring. Oscillator hairsprings are made up of ferromagnetic alloy and are vulnerable to magnetic fields and shocks. Rolex conducted a search for five years to produce parachrom hairspring and is made of paramagnetic alloy. This alloy does not get affected by the existing magnetic fields or shocks no matter the wearer wears it under water or on the land.
